We are among the first companies in Tamil Nadu and the sixth in India to receive approvals from the Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF), CPCB, anSun d the Government of Tamil Nadu, setting early benchmarks in environmentally responsible waste oil management.
Backed by decades of field experience, we specialize in the collection, processing, and re-refining of used and waste oils using patented, eco-friendly technologies. Our facility operates with zero discharge and zero noxious emissions, supported by advanced machinery sourced from the USA and Canada and a 75% automated production process, ensuring consistency, safety, and quality.
We serve thousands of clients across India, catering to a wide spectrum of industries including automobile ancillaries, telecom, healthcare, hospitality, food processing, power plants, garment units, and more. Our pan-India presence spans from Kanyakumari to Delhi, supported by a robust logistics and compliance framework.
Sun Reclaimery is also the first in the industry to implement an exclusive CRM system to manage hazardous waste disposal records, agreements, and statutory documentation, reinforcing transparency, traceability, and regulatory compliance.

Mr. R. Ramasamy, Founder and Managing Partner, is a pioneering force in the used oil recycling industry with over 50 years of rich field experience. A true industry fore-runner, he established the business in 1983, laying the foundation for one of the earliest organized and environmentally responsible used oil re-refining operations in the region.
Renowned for his practical expertise, visionary thinking, and unwavering commitment to sustainable industrial practices, he has been instrumental in introducing innovative processes and setting benchmarks in compliance and environmental responsibility. His leadership continues to inspire the organization and the industry at large.
Sridhara V. Ramasamy
Partner & Head of Operations
Mr. Sridhara V. Ramasamy has been actively involved in the family business since 2003, contributing over two decades of leadership and operational expertise. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, enabling a strong blend of technical knowledge and strategic management.
He plays a key role in driving operational efficiency, technology adoption, and sustainable practices across the organization, while continuing the legacy built by his father R.Ramasamy since 1983. His focus remains on responsible growth, compliance, and long-term value creation.
